Grunder till lycka

Forskning om lycka, den positiva psykologin, försöker hitta svar på vad det är som gör oss människor lyckliga, vad som gör livet mer givande och som gör att man känner sig tillfreds med livet.

3. Kön och ålder. Forskning har visat att det finns skillnader både när det gäller olika åldersgrupper och mellan könen. Vi är som lyckligast vid 65 års ålder. Det kan bero på att vi då är mer emotionellt stabila, har en bättre självkänsla och kanske även har provat en hel del saker och kommit fram till vad man vill. Från ca 45 års ålder har studier visat att lyckokänslan börjat öka för att sedan succesivt öka fram till 65. Även kön har visat sig ha en viss betydelse. I länder som är relativt jämställda är kvinnor något lyckligare än män.

4. Sysselsättning. Att ha en struktur i vardagen, en plats att gå till för social samvaro, meningsfullhet, trygghet och få känna att man har en tillhörighet påverkar vårt välbefinnande.

5. Rörelse. Att träna, eller egentligen att röra på sig gör oss både piggare, starkare, mer energifyllda och ökar våra må-bra-hormoner.

En del som faktiskt också påverkar vår lyckonivå är våra gener. Det som har betydelse där är personlighetsdrag som tex hur extroverta vi är, emotionell stabilitet och om man har en mer optimistisk läggning. De delarna kan vi ju inte påverka utan det ärver vi från våra föräldrar, men de andra viktiga delarna har vi i allra högsta grad en möjlighet att påverka. Värna om dina relationer, känna tacksamhet för det du har, rör på dig är tre enkla saker vi själva kan påverka som har en stor del i hur pass tillfredsställda och nöjda med våra liv vi känner oss.
